Apresento o tratamento taxonômico para Malpighiaceae na Reserva Biológica da Mata Escura (RBME), Minas Gerais, Brasil, no qual um total de 17 espécies e oito gêneros foram registrados. Chaves de identificação para os gêneros e espécies são apresentadas, além de pranchas fotográficas e comentários sobre distribuição, ecologia e taxonomia das espécies estudadas.
