Abstract

A ontogênese floral analisa o desenvolvimento das flores, desde os primórdios de seus verticilos. Objetiva-se aqui enfocar contribuições deste tipo de abordagem ao conhecimento morfológico vegetal, mencionando-se alguns aspectos metodológicos. Questões morfológicas sobre a sinorganização corolina em Balsaminaceae, a origem do ovário pseudo-súpero em Vochysiaceae e do gineceu hemi-sincárpico em Apocynaceae são abordadas, com referências   evolução destas caracterí­sticas.
